Skin type : Super Dry
Climate : cold and dry
I didn’t use this as a mask, just as a cleanser. I bought it because it’s popular in Korea.
It has a soft, airy texture, almost like styrofoam, it’s pretty unique. You only need a small amount, and it foams up really well.
It cleanses thoroughly, but the finish is softer and more moisturizing than typical cleansers.
At first, it almost felt like it wasn’t rinsing off completely. If you prefer a squeaky clean finish, this might not be the best option for you.
Is this supposed to smell like figs? I’m not sure, but it does have a noticeable scent. It’s not unpleasant, but not my favorite either.
The scent is really strong. I’m not usually sensitive to fragrances, but even after rinsing, the scent lingers. The more I smell it, the dizzier I feel.
Most cleansers leave my skin feeling tight, but this one keeps it hydrated.
For dry skin, a cleanser needs this level of slip to prevent that tight, uncomfortable feeling after washing.
It’s very soft on the skin and doesn’t leave it feeling dry or tight, so I’d say it’s non-irritating. It’s extremely gentle.
The price is on the higher side, so I wouldn’t buy multiple types at once.
But since there are different options available, it’s nice to have choices.
If you like that squeaky clean feeling after washing your face, this might not be for you.
But for dry skin, it’s a great match. It keeps my skin hydrated even before I start my skincare routine.
Personally, I hate that tight, pulling sensation after cleansing, even for a short moment, and this product prevents that.
There’s also a jar version, but I went with the tube for a more hygienic application.
It’s worth trying at least once, but the price isn’t quite low enough for a casual “Let’s give it a go!” purchase.
