Review:
I used this for a barrier boost when I started Tazarotene and loved it. This is perfect for people who want hydration but can’t stand the feeling of heavy creams during the day. It has a slippery consistency that sinks into the skin after a few minutes.
It definitely hydrates and might even be a little soothing, but not a noticeable amount. My skin did seem to endure the day better when using this, it felt like I got to the evening less irritated than I normally would. It also helped with the dry patches and peeling from Taz.
Overall, this is a great product that I will not be repurchasing immediately for a couple reasons. It’s kind of expensive for the size in comparison to other products, so if I do get it again eventually I’ll wait for a sale. Also, while it does feel fantastic I can get the same hydrating benefits from a toner (which would be more product for a probably similar or lower price).
