I'm one of those people that has multiple products in the same category open at the same time. This means it takes me awhile to get through individual products. But this month I had a bunch of stuff empty roughly at the same time.
Moisturizers:
First aid beauty ultra repair cream : this was a repeat purchase. I find this to be the perfect lightweight moisturizer for the face. I went through this one a little quicker than usual because I usually just use it on my face and it takes a while to get through 14 oz, but I just got a huge touch up to my sleeve and I use it on fresh tattoos. Not a recommendation since I'm not a professional artist but it works for me. This is a multiple repeat purchase hence the 14 oz because I know I'll use it but I am currently in my broke bitch era so I have to put a pause on expensive moisturizer.
N°7 pure retinol night cream : I find this to be a really nice heavy moisturizer. The retinol is very light and I don't even really notice it since it does not cause any kind of irritation. I would repurchase this except I am in my broke bitch era and this moisturizer is expensive for a basic product.
Sunscreen:
Senka UV Gel: I loooooved this sunscreen š„°. Extra extra props because it didn't break me out. The finish was nice and hydrating and I usually wore it directly over toner for the day. I am considering rebuying this one. My roommate bought this for me as a souvenir from Thailand. Apparently I'm the kind of person that you buy sunscreen for as a souvenir. It does not seem to be stocked by my usual go-to Asian retailers, so I may have to risk eBay.
Biore UV aqua rich: I did not like this one. It pilled up over nothing but skin. It caused me to have a breakout. I used it up on my arms and would not repurchase.
Beauty of Joseon : I would have loved this sunscreen if it didn't break me out. I used it up on my arms but the texture was really nice šš
Sand cloud mineral sunscreen: I didn't even try to put this one on my face. It was nice on the body. I received it as a bonus add-on with an order I made for towel stuff. I actually hated everything SandCloud manufactured so it was interesting that the sunscreen was the best thing in my order and probably all they did as a brand was slap their name on it. I would not repurchase because I'm sure there's an up charge for just having SandCloud on the package. It also reacted with my 14k gold jewelry and would turn my skin colors so that was interesting.
Bodycare :
Trader Joe's firming body butter : this is a repurchase for me. It's perfect for butt acne. I have already repurchased. I can't live without it.
Trader Joe's refresh citrus body wash: this is a repurchase for me. As you might be able to tell from the other reviews… everything breaks me out and this does not so it's special. I'm sure it's a dupe of something fancy. Worth every penny.
Face mask:
De La Cruz maximum strength acne treatment: I bought this after watching a reel where an Instagram dermatologist recommended using sulfur washes for acne. She was using a very expensive one in the reel, but in the comments people mentioned this product as a cheaper alternative. There were no links or anything, just people passing along information. I tried it and it did nothing. I would not repurchase.
Face washes:
Isntree: this is a great mild wash for using in the morning. I thought it was nice and effective but I am in my broke bitch era so I'm going back to using vanicream
Vanicream gentle facial cleanser: this is my go-to gentle moisturizer. Repurchased again and again many times over the years. I went through this one a little quickly because I was using it to wash a fresh tattoo. Not a recommendation since I am not a professional artist but it is my go-to for this
