I just got back from Japan last month, and my cousin from Korea a couple weeks ago. So naturally, it’s time to share a haul 😀 I I’ve only used a couple of these items before and I’m missing some in this picture, so I’ll include mini thoughts on what I can.
Some context on me: oily/combo skin, medium skin tone, monolid, dark brown eyes, black lashes
Japan
• Naturie Hatomugi Skin Conditioner
• Anessa Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare Milk – my HG sunscreen! I have oily skin and it stays matte pretty well with a little powder.
• Shiseido eyelash curler
• Cezanne Pearl Glow Highlight 01 – obsessed with this! A little dusting of this goes a long way, and I’ve gotten so many compliments on how it brings out a natural glow and gentle brightness to my features.
• Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner Super Keep in black – thin, smooth, and very reliable
• Canmake Creamy Touch Liner in medium brown – I like this for the thicker application, creamy but not messy texture, and rich color; but I find that the tip easily breaks off if I’m not gentle enough. The medium brown is a good color for accentuating without being too bold.
• Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl Mascara Advanced Film in black – very reliable mascara, but for some reason it has a little too much fiber for me so it doesn’t apply on as cleanly as I hoped
• Canmake Lasting Multi Eyebase WP 01 in Frosty Clear – used it a few times, and I think it’ll have to be my HG eye primer!
• Cezanne Soufflé Lip Stick in French Rose – huge fan of the quality! It applies well, good balance of gloss and matte, and keeps my lips moisturized all night. Hoping they’ll release more colors in the future, since I’m not very good with bold colors.
• Canmake Plumpuku Coordinate Eyes
• Canmake Mashmallow Finish Powder MO
• Miche Bloomin false lashes in 03 Pure Sweet – first time trying falsies and no complaints! I think these are cute, natural-looking, affordable, and easy to use.
Korea
• Mediheal Teatree Essential Mask
• Goodall Green Tangerine Vitamin C Serum
• Skin1004 Madagascar Centella Husky-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum – most excited to try this!
• Clio Kill Lash Superproof Mascara Long Curling – I got this as a gift before, and I have to say that Clio is my favorite mascara by far. It applies so cleanly and actually lengthens my lashes and maintains the curl throughout the day.
• Beauty of Joseon Glow Serum: Propolis + Niacinimide
• Cosrx Low pH Good Morning Gel Cleanser – cleanses but doesn’t strip my oily skin, my favorite Korean cleanser
