From left to right: Bobbi Brown Luxe Matte Lipstick in Tawny Pink, Fwee Pudding Pot in Hurt (MV02), Fwee Pudding Pot in Faded (RS03), Fwee Pudding Pot in Slayyy (MV04). Indoor fluorescent cool lighting on NC12/ #17 skin.

    Impromptu swatches and quick review.

So yeah, I clearly have a type. They are quite similar… but also slightly different! Enough to justify keeping them all. Cough.

The fwee Pudding Pots have a slippery silicone-heavy formula that makes them very easy to blend (especially on the cheeks). They feel minimally drying and have an extremely blurring soft-focus effect. But due to the texture I can’t seem to build them up on my lips to full opacity, unlike the Bobbi Brown lipstick. This type of matte formula ends up looking and feeling like an air-light stain as it wears. The pigment really sticks to the skin. They’re also beautiful with a gloss or balm applied over top. I love them.

I hope fwee released a shade collection in muted browns, beiges, and taupes that can also be used on the eyes and also as shading. This formula is so good and so fun to use.
