I got dip powder manicure yesterday and didn’t notice until today. I usually get light colors but have never had this happen before. My nails feel smooth but it’s like an under layer shattered or cracked completely. Had to use the camera flash for the photos but it’s quite visible in just natural light too.

That’s definitely not normal. I’d call the salon and ask for a refund (and then go somewhere else to get them fixed). The color is quite nice though!
I don’t think that’s normal, maybe they used the wrong product type because it looks like there was a unexpected chemical reaction. I’d reach out to the salon, but I kind of like the effect, sorta looks like an amethyst geode!
