Just tried a midsummer’s s dream from mooncat!
The formula is a bit goopy, but I have experienced that with several similar pearlescent polishes from misc brands so I think that may be a contributing factor.
I found the easiest way for me to work with it was by globbing quite a bit in the bottom/center and pull out, which was how I was taught to apply gel polish when I subbed in at a salon occasionally.
This was also my first time using the mooncat getting even primer which I love – I have uneven nail beds and it’s pink enough to help even my skintone around my nail beds. My nails have some yellowing, and any yellow/warmth on the nails tends to make my fingertips pull very red lol.
On my left hand (pics 3,4,5,6) I did a layer of Emily de Molly key drama over the entirety of my pinky nail, and down the center of my ring finger nail.
First 4 pics in direct sunlight. Last 2 are in the shade; I was trying to show the color when it’s not flashing but tbh it always it lol.
