Hey yall! Bought all this ~3 months ago & after proper use, I think I’m ready to give a little review!
Skin type: sensitive / dry, prone to redness & inflammation
Pyunkang Yul – calming mask set (9/10)
One of the best sheet masks I’ve tried! I notice a significant decrease in redness after I use this pack, definitely calms down irritation bumps / inflammation from breakouts. Also sufficiently hydrating, I would say the serum in the pack is slightlyyy on the lighter but it’s enough for morning use when my skin’s not cooperating & needs a boost!
Pyunkang Yul – 1/3 cotton pad (6/10) there’s really nothing special about these cotton pads, I use them to remove eye makeup with an oil cleanser and they get the job done. This could be cuz my under eye tends
to be drier but it can feel scratchy on my skin if the pad isn’t sufficiently saturated in oil.
Heartleaf 77 clear pad (4/10) I really wanted to like these cuz I’ve heard so many good things from people with combo skin types but this did absolutely nothing for me. While there was a pleasant cooling effect, it did nothing for my redness & I didn’t find them hydrating at all. Weirdly enough, when I would pat in the left over serum and let in dry, it left a strange slippery feel to the skin which I didn’t appreciate!!
Round Lab – 1025 Dokdo Cleanser (8/10) creamy, gentle, and lathers up beautifully! But be warned a little goes a longgg way if you have dry skin / patches like myself! I genuinely only need a pea sized amount for face, neck, & décolletage Anything more than that and it starts to strip my skin of moisture.
Isehan – Kiss Me Sunkiller Perfect Water Essence spf 50+ PA++++
(10/10) HOLY GRAIL! The struggle of finding an alcohol free spf that doesn’t sting my eyes and make them teary is finally over! ZERO white cast, watery gel like consistency, soft dewy finish & light citrusy scent but it hasn’t caused any irritation. Just the perfect amount of hydration for the daytime without making my forehead look greasy lol. It’s also a slightly greenish color that I find neutralizes the redness in my skin, it’s a true 10/10 for me!
I’m most disappointed in the 77 toner pads, has anyone else experienced that weird slippery feel of the skin after using them? Let me know!
