Snail mucus has 9 amino acids: Histidine, Isoleucine and leucine, Lysine, Methionine, Phenylalanine, Threonine, Tryptophan and Valine.

Hatomugi contains amino acids too – Histidine, Lysine, Threonine, Valine, proline, Serine, Leucine, Arginine, Glycine, Alanine, Aspartic acid, Glutamic acid.”

There is a theory that one allergic to snail mucus maybe allergic to Hatomugi also. Has this happened to anyone here?

However, the intersting thing is despite products containing amino acids breaking me out, I have never reacted from Kikumasamune lotion which has fermented sake which is the storehouse of amino acids? Can someone throw light on this?
