March empties ⭐️ (2024 Project Pan)
1) Lee Stafford Hair Growth Stimulating Scalp Scrub. I love the idea of a scalp scrub, but I found this product very “meh”. It was a faff to get enough of the product onto my scalp instead of in my hair, and washing the beads out of my curly locks took way longer than I would usually care for. It’s supposed to stimulate and encourage hair growth- really not sure if it did work or not but the claims sucked me in! 😕 WNRP.
2) Fur Oil. I love this product and I have previously also panned the ingrown concentrate. I love the feeling of it, the smell, I use it on my legs, underarms and bikini line and feel super luxurious with it. I also have used it on a scar which was very soothing, but again not sure how much it actually did. I really want an oil like this in my rotation, but when thinking about this review I realised that despite regular use I do still suffer with ingrowns (I can thank my curly genes for this) and have been looking at other ingrown solutions. Therefore perhaps this product is purely a little luxury, but not useful for the task I originally purchased it for. 🤑 Might RP, but holding off as it is expensive for what it does.
3) Sol De Janeiro Samba Foot Fetish Cream. I’m ready for the backlash but… this was a total HATE pan for me. Honestly I hate this product. I have had it almost a year and until I started project pan, I had used it twice. I ordered the hand cream and the same time, and as soon as I opened the foot cream I made my decision to return the hand cream immediately. The smell is so synthetic and cloying to me, it almost reminded me of holister in the early 2010s, but if I am being honest I prefer the holister scents. This screams immediate headache. Made it through somehow. 😵💫 WNRP.
4) Nivea Soft Cream. I used this as a hand cream. Absolutely fine, the smell just isn’t my cup of tea. I would say it does a really good job moisturising. Don’t dislike it. Don’t love it either! 🙂 WNRP.
5) Maybelline Colossal Big Shot Mascara. I used to use Urban Decay perversion, and I hated how messy the tube would get. This was absolutely fine, but seriously flaky under my eyes (although no worse than the UD one). Still on the hunt for the perfect mascara. 🙂 WNRP, even though it was fine!
6) Body Shop Hemp hand cream. I would say this is my holy grail, but if I am being honest my feelings towards it are complicated. I do not think it is the best product for moisturising (which almost makes it defeat the point), but it does a good enough job, and most importantly I love the smell. I keep a tube in my car and a tube at my desk. Pannned both this month but lost one of the empties. It brings a little moment of joy to my day. I love the earthiness. Decided it was too expensive for what it is, and that I would try some drugstore hand creams until I find my favourite. Then promptly made my way to my local Body Shop and picked up another two 😍 WRP.
