I’m very keen to explore the world dipotassium glycyrrhizate as an ingredient in essence/toners/products.
Sekkisei has it as their star ingredient in their regular and enriched lotion. It’s also in Albion’s famous skin conditioner. Recently fell down this rabbit hole of looking into this ingredient which is a derivative of licorice which apparently can increase hyaluronic acid retention, fade scars, general whiten /brighten, strengthen sad +/or angry skin. Currently I’m starting with the Sekkisei enriched toner as I could find it easily where I am based, so far so good but it’s been a week so I can’t say for sure yet.
There have been some interesting studies on the ingredient and I know it’s also in a few of Pola winning products. Note, these are all Japanese brands..
I’m wondering if/where other fans of AB have encountered this ingredient and what their experience was with it? Any Korean or Malaysian products with this?
