I’ve been getting into some C-beauty via Yesstyle and just wanted to share some pictures since I couldn’t find much on this specific brand in the subreddit. I’ve got two from Gogo Tales: Eyeshadow & Blush Palette in Moorish Fortress (I paid $10), and 25 Colors Eyeshadow Palette in Smoke Purple Rose (I paid $16.40). I’m also including a product photo from Yesstyle for both so you can compare how it looks in the listing to my photo. I took my photos in indirect natural light. I’m medium cool on my arm so I’m likely tanner than the models. The pigment level is still pretty good.
I haven’t swatched all of the 25 color palette yet but included the top row and some of the glitters to give an idea of the pigment level. I was a little worried that more of the glitter colors would have big glitter chunks in them, but only 1 has the big hexagonal pieces (top right corner–5 in my photo) and 2 have the smaller “sand”-texture glitter. The other 6 shimmery shades are much finer and have more of a “wet” shimmer look rather than chunky glitter. I will personally probably not be using those around my eyes, but I did notice that whatever the top right hexagonal glitter is in seems to do a pretty good job of gluing the chunks down once on the skin–my swatch isn’t really moving even after rubbing my thumb on it a few times.
Overall the quality doesn’t seem too bad and I’ll be looking forward to trying some looks out.
