Albolene- very gentle. I bought this because I loved their eye makeup remover that they quit making. It literally dissolved eye makeup with a pinprick amount (it came in a small gel dispenser, airless tube). Sadly that was discontinued years ago and they launched a new skincare line that is really gentle. There is a balm, cleanser, hydrator. Maybe even a toner. I really liked this oil cleanser. It does not emulsify. So it definitely needs a second step. It is very moisturizing on the skin which is nice if you use retin a or other actives. It is thick, like a thick ointment. You need a decent amount like a quarter size to remove everything including eye makeup.
I have been eyeing the elemis pro cleansing balm, it turns into a milk and also has a sensorial experience with the herbs in it. It just looks like a great cleansing balm that will take my skin care game up to the next level. I’ve been looking for one that has more pore cleansing abilities and I think an emulsifying one will do this as well. Open to suggestions!
