This review has been a long time coming, but it completely slipped my mind 🙈

    PACKAGING

Okay, so. These Funtenin press on nails arrive with 24 pieces in different sizes, as well as the option to choose nail glue or jelly stickers. I went with the stickers.

The box itself had no branding at all, which makes me think it might be massively produced in China, and then sold under which ever unknown brand.

However. The quality is not bad at all!

    QUALITY

They came out quite long, so I had to file down all 10 nails to my preferable length. One of them cracked slightly in the process (I was pressing too hard on it 🙈), but it didn’t spread further down the nail, so I was still able to salvage it.

Design is identical to the one pictured in #1 and #4 (for comparison, my hand is pic #5). The pink part of the design was translucent just enough for it to seem like natural nails, but to not actually be able to see you real nails underneath.

I’m a contact lens wearer, so I wash my hands quite a bit during the day, and none of color came off during the 3 weeks that I’ve worn them!

    APPLICATION

If you’re ordering jelly stickers, there’s a few things to keep in mind:
    – before application, your natural nails should be filed on top, so the jelly stickers can grip to the surface
    – press on the stickers for 10sec before removing the foil, and applying the nails

    WEARABILITY

I was able to do pretty much everything with them, except for washing hair (I really didn’t feel like they would last through the process).

    – if you’re cooking, beware that spices will make their way between the press on and the real nail, and that’s a chore to clean…
    – if you press them down against a firm surfaces (yes, even jeans!), the grip will loosen, and they’ll come right off
    – once you figure out how to position your fingers, you can wear all sorts of clothing, even panty hose, and blouses with buttons

    CONS

    – ove time, sticker glue starts slowly seeping on the sides of the nail, and though it is translucent, it gets dirty, so every day I had to remove tiny pieces of it
    – removal is no easier than with regular nail glue, even though that’s why originally ordered jelly stickers, thinking it might be less damaging to my nails. I’ve read somewhere that rubbing alcohol helps to speed up the removal process, but since I didn’t have any, I went with the soap and oil soaking method, and then pushing the glue down with a cuticle remover. It was a lengthy process…

    WOULD I ORDER AGAIN

Yes. I used to wear gel nails, and while they are more comfortable and sturdy than press ons, the damage to my natural nails was immense compared to just removing jelly stickers.
