Continuing my reviews for the REPLAY Etude collection 😊
The syrup glossy balms used to come in 7 shades, and as far as I know, Lilac Shower is an entirely new shade and not a re-release. I don’t own any of the discontinued ones.
I think the packaging is way cuter than it used to be! Love the name written in cursive 🥰!
It’s a shade w very little pigmentation but I can still see the lavender tint on my lips 👌
The glitters, very small, are purple, pink and golden and quite densely packed. You won’t look like a disco ball though.
The formula is thick but I don’t mind that, since I have lips that always peel, especially in the winter. Your hair might stick to this but it’s also not the stickiest formula I’ve ever tried. It’s quite slippery (but stays on the lips).
Since it is quite sheer, I think it will suit both cool and warm skintones 🙂
I might be wrong about that but I also think it will look great on darker skintones than mine.
Overall, I love this shade, it’s special yet wearable, and I feel like this is better than “regular” gloss, because you don’t have a wand going back in every time. It’s easier to clean 👌
