My lovely in-laws gave me some money to purchase skincare/beauty stuff with for Christmas, and my order arrived yesterday, along with some free samples for spending a certain amount (I think I accidentally ordered two sets of free samples, but they included both, so woo!).

    * **Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner** – Repurchase, HG hydrating toner, lovely and simple, somehow has the texture of a thicker toner, but it absorbs like a watery toner.

    * **Pyunkang Yul Ato Moisturizing Soothing Gel Lotion** – Lightweight moisturizer, kind of like an emulsion, tried it once on my face so far, felt nice. I wanted to try a PY moisturizer, but their regular creams looked like they might be too heavy for me, so I browsed around and decided to try this one. I think it’s one of their products that are meant to be baby/toddler skin friendly, since there was a little picture of a baby head on the back with the Korean text.

    * **Beauty of Joseon Red Bean Water Gel** – Only tried it on the back of my hand so far, but felt like another lightweight moisturizer, which is what I was hoping for.

    * **Axis-Y Biome Resetting Moringa Cleansing Oil** – Haven’t tried yet, but I’m almost out of my Kose Softymo Speedy Cleansing Oil. I’d happily repurchase that one, but I felt like trying something new for the sake of novelty.

    * **Apieu Honey Milk Lip Scrub** — Very gentle, probably too gentle (small grains, not very many), but I like that it comes in a squeeze tube so that I don’t have to stick my finger or a spatula into it. Could work well in between uses of a stronger scrub. I don’t regret buying it, but probably wouldn’t re-purchase.

    * **Etude Fixing Tint in “Dark Walnut”** – Nice shade, on the darker side of what works for me personally. I’m a soft autumn/autumn mute in terms of seasonal color analysis.

    * **Romand Milk Tea Velvet Tint in “Rose Tea”** – I haven’t tried this one on yet, but it looks pretty on the brush.

Free Samples (haven’t tried any yet):

    * **Neogen Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Lemon** – Each sample is one pad.

    * **Frudia Green Grape Pore Peeling Pad** – One pad in each sample, like the last one. I do sometimes have mild acne, and could do with some gentle exfoliation, but I don’t want to be too harsh, so I’m going to look up reviews of both types of pads before using.

    * **Romand Juicy Lasting Tint samples in “Warm Nude” and “Cool Nude” – I love the JLT I have in “Nucadamia,” so I’m looking forward to trying these. I’m going to look up swatches of the shades before using, because the small amount and the lack of resealable packaging make it impractical to do my own swatching.

    * **Pyunkang Yul sample set** – Contains little packets of the Essence Toner, Moisture Serum, Balancing Gel, and Nutrition Cream. I’m excited about this one! Like I said earlier, I’ve been wanting to try more PY products, but I don’t want to pay a bunch of money for things that don’t suit my skin, so this is perfect!

(Also, full disclosure, the lighting was kind of dark when I took the photo, so I edited the photo to up the exposure afterwards.)
