These are most of my empties from 2023. Going forward, it would probably be easier for me to document them once a month rather than collecting all these empty containers šŸ˜…. Here are reviews for each pic.

Pic 1: overview pic of almost everything

    Pic 2: Cleansers

    – Sephora Deep Cleansing Brush Shampoo: cheap and gets the job done. Before, I would use a face wash but I found myself running through them too quickly.

    – Sephora Clean Skin Gel: found this too drying on the skin and ended up using it for my brushes. Felt like it left a waxy layer on my face.

    – Vanicream Gentle Cleanser: very affordable and accessible. This is easily my favorite cleanser. It’s gentle on the skin and not drying at all. Gets the job done for a good price.

    – Curology the cleanser: I didn’t like the feel of this one compared to the vanicream one so I started using this to clean my brushes as well.

Pic 3: Micellar water. Not much to say here, I use this before double cleansing.

    Pic 4: cleansing balm

    – The Inkey list oat cleansing: I use this one on a daily basis. I prefer it for everyday because it’s affordable and gentle on the skin.

    – Clinique take off the day: I prefer this for makeup days or if I’ve had a really long day and feel like my face needs a deep cleanse. I’m surprised I couldn’t find more empties for these. It works well and I find it more ā€œheavy dutyā€ than the Inkey list.

    Pic 4: toners

    – TonyMoly Ceramide Mochi Toner: This toner was not anything special to me. Didn’t love it or hate it but I think it’s a lot of product for the price.

    – Cosrx Propolis Synergy Toner: I found this to be hydrating on the skin and gave me a nice glow.

    – Sephora Clarrifying Toner: this was too much for me. Definitely not something to use everyday. I think my skin hate’s niacinmide. I already the use Curology treatment so I don’t really think I needed this.

    Pic 5: Moisturizers

    – Belif aqua bomb: super hydrating while still being light enough to use during the day and even in the summer. This is one of my tried and trues and a staple in my routine.

    – Belif moisturizing cream: I used this at night and don’t think there’s anything special about it. I think the aqua bomb is more hydrating. Dont find this to be helpful in winter months when my skin gets dryer.

    – Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream: I also used this at night and found it better than the belief cream. Again, nothing special here.

    – Ole Henrikson Sheer Tranformation Perfecting Moisturizer: it seems this product is discontinued. I used to like it and use it for a few years but at some point it started stinging my face so I switched to the Belif aqua bomb. This was also lightweight and wore well under makeup.

    Pic 6: Sunscreen

    – Coola Classic fragrance free sunscreen: leaves my skin an oily mess and has a weird smell to it. I only used it during colder months and in the mornings before the gym.

    – Supergoop unseen: love using this under makeup and especially during the summer. I did try the Trader Joe’s dupe at some point but I found it to be more oily than this.

    – Innisfree Daily UV Defense: did leave my skin a tiny bit oily but it’s still really affordable and works fine with the rest of my routine. I will revisit this in 2024.

    Pic 7: Setting Spray

    – Urban Decay All-nighter: this is okay. Don’t find it to be all that great for oily skin. I think the one sized spray performs a lot better.

    – Charlotte Tilburry Airbrush Setting Spray: definitely gives an airbrushed finish as the name suggests. I spray this throughout different steps in my makeup routine. In addition to a good primer and using the one sized spray, I think this helps keep everything in place, even when the oil starts coming through.

    – One sized setting spray: as mentioned , this is a good choice for oily skin and great at helping my makeup last throughout the day.

    Pic 8: Bodycream

    – Sephora Body Cream: I prefer this one over the shea butter one. This is obviously my tired and true. I used it year round. It’s super affordable and moisturizes the skin really well. Not too heavy either. It also does not have a smell so great to layers with perfume or other creams that do have a fragrance. I love this stuff and use it everyday.

    – Philosophy Amazing Grace: this is super heavy and smells nice. Definitely will not leave your skin dry! As I mentioned, I use body cream everyday and this is too pricey to justify repurchasing on a regular basis. I would recommend this more if you’re wanting to treat yourself.

    – Fenty Skin Butta Drop: I hate the smell of this stuff. It’s oily and just sits on top of the skin. Considering the price of a full size, I wouldn’t not repurchase.

    Pic 9: Randoms

    – EstĆ©e Lauder Mascera: I had this forever. Didn’t notice anything special about it.

    – Killian Love don’t be shy: loved it and purchased a full size.

    – Ariana Grande Cloud: I think this is considered a dupe for BR540. I already have a full sized perfume of that and prefer the longevity and silage of that one.

    – Anastasia Beverly Hills Clear Gel: the name is smudged off. This performs well but I find the bristles to be too harsh.

    – Benefit Goof Proof pencil: I prefer the precisely my brow pencil (also by benefit) to this one. The goof proof tip is a little too thick. I brought the Precisely My Brow pencil by mistake but found it easier to fill in the brows.

    – Fenty lip gloss in hot chocolit: this stuff was too heavy and thick. Feels like it’s just sitting on my lips. Surprised I finished so much of it.

    – Nars light reflecting foundation in Igacu: Ive been wearing makeup since 2017ish and surprisingly this is my first foundation pan. This is really lightweight in the skin. Leaves a skin like finish and wears well through the day. Great color match in the warmer months and didn’t oxidize too much.
