Hi everyone I recently bought this hair dye since it’s an easier way to dye your hair. I would love to see people’s reviews or before and after too! 😀

I have virgin black hair and I’m going for the color dark chocolate which is a dark brown. Should I do my ends first and leave it on for 20 minutes? Then do my roots last and leave it on for 20 more? I’m new and I tried to search online and conflicting results. I wonder if it really doesn’t matter since my hair is already dark and the color I’m choosing is also dark. Thank you! („• ֊ •„)

    1. Hi, I’ve been using this brand for years, among other bubble dyes and they all have similar procedure. If you have dark hair it actually won’t show up that much. And bubble dyes like this tend to have uneven results, specifically lighter roots if you apply it generously all over.

It is better that you start at the ends and leave around 1.5-2 inches at the roots untouched, then do roots last. The heat from the scalp processes the roots faster that’s why.

But then again with this color it would barely show up either way.

    2. i’ve used the liese brand a lot in the past and had great results, although don’t have any pics! just so you’re aware: you likely won’t get exactly the shade on the box, and it’s possible you’ll come out warmer toned than it looks. generally, for bleach, it’s recommended to do ends for 20 then roots—because liese isn’t bleach and doesn’t react with heat as much, you can usually get away with doing the whole head at once. i always started from the ends anyways, then worked my way towards the root.

How thick and how long your hair is? My mum has pretty thick hair and even tho she has short hair (ear length), she needs two boxes of this. It takes a bit of time to smear it all over, I never notice any irritation when I leave it on more than 20 mins. Just start from the root and massage it in, the remaining bubbles would naturally wet the remaining hair. Or you can use a comb to even it out. Get two boxes just in case. Prepare some nail polish remover/ alcohol wipes for when you get it on your face etc. Put a towel over your shoulders. And a big hair claw to put your hair up when u finish massaging.

Salon de pro is a good choice too. Get whatever that’s cheaper.
