Tyler’s Trinkets – first impressions 💖

I received my first order from Tyler's Trinkets this week and y'all – I am SO IMPRESSED!!! I've heard such good things and am pleased to echo those sentiments.

First, turn around time was amazing. My order was shipped within 5 business days – and I ordered right after their new collection dropped so I'm sure they were working through more orders than normal!

Second, the packaging was AMAZING! I literally stopped while I was opening everything just to message the brand and tell them what a great experience it was. He thought of so many cute details that really made opening my package a super fun experience – custom tape and paper, stickers, stamps on the box flaps (including welcoming me as a first time customer), stickers and a business card included, and cute custom boxes. And of course, everything was packed very securely and arrived safely. I don't think less of brands that don't pull out all the stops for packaging but when they do, it does really make the experience so fun.

Third, the polishes!!! I was excited about all my purchases but every single one was even prettier in person than the online photos. I haven't quite gotten to try them all on my hands quite yet but from the ones I've tried and the swatches, these formulas are awesome!

The entire Polished Joy collection collab with Aclued Nails

Blue With a Fart of Green – such a cool, unique creme. It applies like a dream and dries to a satin-matte finish. Would love to see more of these!

The Rainbow Connection – a super fun rainbow glitter topper with various size glitters. Pretty!

Not a Phase, a Formula – metallic silver with Holo glitters; look, did I NEED another silver/Holo glitter polish? No. Do I love it anyway? Yes. Yes I do 🤣 to be fair, I don't have one that's like a combo of metallic and glitter sooo… Now I do!

Late Night Mani – gorgeous indigo with gold magnetic pigment. Magnetized really well and is sooo beautiful!

Group chat glow – periwinkle with iridescent flakies 💖 lovely. Just beautiful 💖

Cute & Savage – HOT PINK GLITTER!!!! 💖💖💖 Love love love!

Heart in the Hills – mid tone pink with a beautiful gold shimmer. It really blows in person; pictures do NOT do this shade justice. Charity shade benefitting SAFE.

Icebreaker – Deep blue jellyish base with green iridescent flakies and red/orange shimmer. Again, another polish that is just so stunning in person. The blue has a beautiful depth to it and has such a unique undertone. The flakes are so pretty and there's just a touch of shimmer to add interest. Charity shade benefitting the Immigrant Rapid Response fund and the ACLU.

There's a Little Witch in All of Us – black flake topper

You Found Me – mint green with green/lime shimmer and scattered Holo – so pretty and builds up nicely. The Holo really sparkles through in direct light

Spark of Creativity – sister shade to above; purple/periwinkle with purple shimmer and scattered Holo; so pretty for spring

Pina colada cuticle oil – this smells amazing! And it didn't even register with me until I got it in my hands but there's little pineapples floating in the oil!! It's so cute!!!

Also ordered their magnetic elixir and a couple base coats; have not had a chance to try them yet.
