Pic 1:
Iconic London Super Smoother Blurring Skin Tint – this is a nice skin tint, with good coverage and does blur the ski a bit, although I did find it would get stuck in some dry patches and wouldn’t hold up throughout an entire day.
Pic 2:
Elf Power Grip Dewy Setting Spray – I pretty sure this is a dupe of Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Setting Spray, but honestly as someone who has used both I lived the milk one and hated the elf one. The milk one was excellent for making your skin look refreshed, you could use it as a primer or if it was great if you wanted to touch up your makeup throughout the day. The elf I’ve just makes you look like an oil slick, with none of the benefits of the milk one.
Pic 3: Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Foundation in shade 2.5 – this was the only foundation I’ve ever used that was a PERFECT match. It offers light coverage with a skin finish, it can sometimes cling to dry patches though and it does work better when applied with a brush. I’ve since started using the skin tint which is easier to use.
Pic 4: Rude Cosmetics Lip Oil – it felt a bit thin but comfortable on the lips. The problem with this one was the smell. It was a horrible artificial grape flavour, the kind that American sweets use I think???? I’m from a country where we would have blackcurrant over grape flavours in sweets so it may have just been unfamiliar to me.
Pic 5: Nyx This Is Juice Gloss – I’m so mad this looks like it’s been discontinued, they were the perfect sheer glosses! And they smelled so good! I’d consider it to be a great dupe for the glossier glosses.
Pic 6: Glossier Cloud Paint in the shade ‘Dusk’ – I love the cloud paints for a natural easy look, although I can’t buy any more blushes at the moment I’d like to finish more and give the new glossier blushes a try.
Pic 7: Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray – this is my absolute HG, I will always re-purchase. It helps my makeup melt together and holds it in place ALL DAY. I’ve never used a setting spray as good as this. And I hate to admit that, because I’m flooded with Charlotte tilbury adverts all the time and it gets on my tits.
Pic 8: Mac Squirt Plumping Gloss Stick in the shade ‘Jet’ – I love this, but I wouldn’t purchase it in this colour again, it’s a sheer black so if you put too much on your lips can look very odd, but just a little bit can give a nice vampy gloss look. It’s very comfortable considering it’s plumping, and very glossy. I do hate the name, for obvious reasons.
Pic 9: Girlcult Multi Use Cream Blusher, Saturn Peach Feast Series, shade 22 (AKA the bright red one that looks like a gummy). This is DEWY. If you like dewy sheer blushes I would recommend this, but there is a caveat – it’s very sticky, and can take your base makeup off. Because of its stickiness and my no-buy on blush I wouldn’t re-purchase.
Pic 10: Hourglass Voyeur Eyeshadow Stick in the shade ‘Galaxy’ – I love this shade. A beautiful mix of grey and purple, an excellent one and done eyeshadow. Just one problem – i struggled to blend it but I don’t really use cream eyeshadows often – which is why this stick was drying up when I was panning it. There as a tiny bit left in, but I was happy and didn’t want to scoop the rest out. In summary – beautiful shade, would buy in a powder eyeshadow. I’m not allowed anymore cream or liquid eyeshadow because it ALWAYS dries up because I don’t wear eyeshadow often enough.
