i made my own magnetic toppers!!! I recently saw a post of Arcana's Firemind here, fell in love, and was immediately heartbroken upon hearing that it was a PPU shade. in my search for magnetics with contrasting red pulls, someone suggested I make my own, and down the rabbit hole I fell. thank you to all of the different lacqueristas on here who answered my random questions on sometimes year-old posts, this community is the loveliest!

this is my first time trying them out (sort of recreating Firemind) and I am in love. no top coat yet, I am too happy rn to risk a mishap, haha.

wearing:

1x Rival de Loop Ridge Filler

2x Manhattan Last & Shine in 040 Midnight Rush

1x DIY red magnetic topper (Vettsy 2 in 1 Cat Eye pigment in Red Coral + Aromazone suspension base)

magnetised velvet on pointer and pinky, glass bead on thumb and ring finger, and cat eye on my middle finger

Soooooo pretty!!!! Do you also live in Europe by any chance? How was your experience ordering from Vettsy? What other basic tools did you need to mix the powder into the suspension base evenly, and also where did you get empty nail polish bottles if you used any?

This looks so pretty, and makes it more accessible to us folks in Europe! 😀 although I wonder whether you had a lot of powder left over, and how reactive it is? :)))
