My Bisley arrived today and I’m so happy with it. I’m going to share a few photos that may help if you’re on the fence, also happy to photograph anything in particular if you’d like to see.
I bought the Bisley 39 Series with 9 drawers in Lilac, with matching handles. The second photo is the difference in size between the Helmer and Bisley drawers – it’s not much but depending on how much polish you have it can make a difference – I had some drawers where I had to get creative to get everything in. I see some destashing in my future.
I took a picture of my polish in the Helmer drawer and then in the Bisley drawer. This was the first drawer I did and the difference may have been easier to spot with another brand, but I’ve included it for reference, you can see a little bit of the difference around the edges. (Excuse the upside down Illamasquas, I like to turn polish occasionally.)
The drawers are a fraction less deep than the Helmer. My tallest polish bottles are Mooncat, Ciate and the 2014 Urban Decay bottles with the skulls, and they all fit out of box. I had all my Mooncat and one of the UDs in their boxes and it was no go. I don’t think you’d get anything taller than those in it.
On a quick count I got 70/71 (I lost count 😆) China Glaze bottles in a drawer. I did a little test with my Holo Taco and ILNP bottles and doing the maths you’re looking at 104.
Hope that’s helpful for anyone thinking about purchasing. If you’re in the UK they currently have 15% off…which was lovely to see after I’d bought it full price not two weeks ago. 😭

The helmer has been discontinued, apparently. Not sure if they’re replacing it or with what, but I’m glad an alternative exists. I have 4 helmers in use and one still in the box waiting 😂
I so want to get one of these, but the problem is I’d see it as an excuse to buy more polish and fill it lol 😅
How did I not know they made one with more than 6 drawers?!? I have three 6 drawer Bisleys and three 3 drawer Bisleys…. I am out of control 🤣
Thank you for sharing your experience so far! I ordered one in lilac for myself as well and this has me very excited for it to arrive – I was a bit dubious as I bought the colour sample and felt it leaned a little grey, but it looks so lovely as a full unit! If that makes sense 🥲
