This was a Refill… and nail design.. I came in w/Inspo pic and she nailed it… It’s a New Shop for me and much much better than the previous … She filed the Acrylic dwn and shaped my nails better then the initial set which was waaay to thick.… I wasn’t sure that I wanted to continue w/Acrylic but she said if I wanted to remove it and try something else that I could whenever I liked .. I’ve always had pretty long 💅🏾 but not always a complete set simultaneously. I had cracked/broken a few at once so that why I decided to try them out…. What are some other methods are better, same or trending that I should try opposed to the Acrylic style..

YES! OMG, it’s like the roller rink or album covers (Duran Duran, looking at you…) or buying new school supplies or getting a caboodle for my scrunchies in the 90’s. The tech nailed the aesthetic. I would totally go there and do this.

I think your next step is to see if you’re happy with acrylic or not. What have you liked, or not liked, about it? Are there things that it is not doing for you that you want? Talk to this tech. See what they recommend. Because obviously they’ve worked in acrylic and probably other things, maybe even more in other things. And their design is good, their ability to correct for other techs’ failures is good. That says they probably are good all-around.

SO.. way back when I was in high school, I did acrylics for about 2 months. They made my nails SO thin for months after I took them off. I would ask your tech, again, who seems like a good tech, what options you have. There are so many materials now that probably have a less detrimental impact on your nails compared to acrylic.
