I happened to buy this shampoo and treatment (conditioner as we call it in my country) from Japan via Tenso since I don’t live in Japan. Let me put my honest review on it.

Misshelly is a brand that was launched in 2024 that focuses on luxury hair care in Japan. The original motto line, Grace and Noble, targets dry and damaged hair. When I first learned about this, I was so excited to try it out since I wanted to try dabbling into beauty products from Asia. I finally bought it last year after struggling to find the best offer online, but it wasn’t an easy path.

Let me tell you, it was very difficult getting it because the official website doesn’t ship internationally. However, I was still able to get it thanks to Tenso and Buyee before the restrictions hit. The packaging is super cool as the bottles are a harder glass like plastic with a pump rather than a flimsy thin plastic.

The shampoo smelled super nice, with a good amount of fruit and flower scents. I translated the ingredient list to English and was relieved that sulfates are not in the list as I avoid sulfates. As for the usage, it did wonders to clean my hair well without over stripping oils. But still, I wouldn’t recommend it for someone who is sensitive to fragrance. However, I would recommend it as a salon shampoo than a clarifying everyday one.

The conditioner also hydrated my hair since I color and heat style my hair at least once a week. With that same fruity floral scent, it helped moisturize my hair and it isn’t as damaged much compared to cheaper conditioners.

For the price, it is usually in the mid range. But because I live outside Japan, shipping costs are way higher so I had to budget 2-3 times the retail price.

Keep in mind, my hair type is Asian 1A hair. So it makes sense why this product is designed for Asian hair as Japan’s population is mostly Japanese people. I am not Japanese, but I think these hair products are amazing for my self care hair wash day routine! I hope this review helps people understand this brand better.
