I just got my second ever pair of gel nails, and I cannot stand them. The first nail tech did not do the design correctly on 9/10 nails and added texture to my nails that I did not ask for. The nails came out looking awful.

The second nail tech took off the texture and added the accent I wanted, but the main design still looks uneven and bad.

I don't want them to redo anything else, I just want to get rid of the polish.

I have a flight to a different state in a day and a wedding two days after that. Is gel home removal in this time frame feasible or should I get it removed in another shop in the area of the wedding?

The first picture is what they look like now, the second is what they looked like before up close, and the third was my reference picture (also from reddit)

They’re not horrible but if you dont like them, you can definitely remove these yourself. Soak nails in acetone for about 20 minutes and the gel should melt right off.

They’re not terrible but not great. If they ruin your mood just get rid of em. Your peace matters most!

Is it just regular gel? Not hard gel?

Then you can definitely remove it yourself. File off the topcoat and soak in 100% pure acetone. Should take 20 minutes or so

The blue in the second picture doesn’t look fully cured to me. I wouldn’t risk it.
