Gear Shift Glam is using actual automotive paint in their polishes in a 10 to 1 ratio. Not the raw pigment… Paint that has already been mixed for automotive use. In an IG post, the owner is saying it caused itching and is considering only using it for press ons or enhancements, which is extremely concerning. But this info is NOWHERE on their website, which seems dangerous for anyone buying it who doesn't check their socials. They also are making gelpolish with it but they don't know if it affects the curing time? I just wanted to warn everyone because this seems unsafe.

Oof, this is something where you really have to do all that testing and research on the backend FIRST. Consumers don’t want to feel like guinea pigs.

  2. Man, I spread the word of being stupid careful with gels and now I gotta include automotive paint? Shit that’s formulated to bond to metal?? Come on 🙁

Man, as much as I love how auto paint can look, I think I want it to stay on the car. (Or my pc case, I did use auto paint to make my pc case nicer)
