Personally, I'm overwhelmed by the amount of FOMO overload. Nowadays it feels like every drop by every brand is limited edition.

However, I understand that's it hard running a business. A maker has privately expressed to me how they're barely breaking even pricing at $14 per polish, once they factor in overhead and employees. It's a rough time for both makers and customers. 🙁

  1. I mean – I get it. Keeping everything in stock indefinitely is incredibly expensive.

I’m not bothered by it. She’s explaining why and giving notice to customers. Can’t ask for much more than transparency with how things are right now, and she’s giving us that.

For anyone who hasn’t ordered directly from her, she sells 15ml bottles of cuticle oil for $11, which are a great deal compared to the 2-3ml pens that are usually $6+ elsewhere. The cotton candy scent is great ❤️ She also has mystery boxes of 6 polishes for $30, which is a killer deal. I got a great selection when I ordered, multiple finishes and types.

I understand why, but I hate limited batch/ FOMO. I have concluded that I just won’t buy from those shops at all because I dislike it so much.
