I love trying different UV products and I have not really seen too many reviews out there for the Numbuzin No.5 Tone-Up Sun Serum, so I thought I'd share my thoughts. After trying it out, I’d give it about a 2/5 ⭐️.

Starting with the pros! This product is unscented, so it'sgreatest for anyone who is sensitive to anything with a fragrance. The texture is like a milky serum that's not super runny, but not too viscous either. It also dries down completely matte with no sticky or tacky feeling, which is nice. That said, I almost feel like it dries too fast.

For me, that’s where most of the issues came in. Because it sets so quickly, I found it kind of hard to spread evenly unless I worked in really small sections. It also clung to any dry areas on my face and ended up looking patchy overall. It looked fine on my hand, but on my face it was a different story. I think if you have super smooth, well prepped skin it might work better, but if you have any texture or dryness, it’s probably not the most forgiving.

I know this is supposed to be a tone-up product, so I expected some white cast, but I just couldn’t get this to look natural on me. Anything more than like 3–4 drops and I started looking like a clown. Normally I use about half a teaspoon of sunscreen for my face and neck, but there’s no way I could apply that much of this without it looking bad. Because of that, I’m not super confident about how effective the sun protection would be in real use.

Overall, I like the idea of this product, but it just didn’t work for me and I wouldn’t repurchase it. This is so sad because I absolutely love their clear filter sun essence!!
