    It’s not cured enough.
What brands and what light are you using are you doing your thumbs separately

Undercured gel, as everyone else mentions. Also, please be careful applying the gel! It shouldn’t touch your skin at all

  3. Maybe the lamp also isn’t strong enough. Always cute for longer just to be sure. Also old gel nail polish I find can do this

  4. We definitely need more details on brands of everything. I am concerned about any product that says to cure for 2 minutes.

Este trabajo está mal sellado con la lámpara de ahí ese levantamiento el el pulgar.
Haz las capas muy finas y seca 2’ en la para led

different gels require different lamps it could be something to do with the lamp not being strong enough

  7. Nap tech here! Those are not fully cured. Most likely your lamp is not strong enough to fully cure. You could put it under the lamp for 10 minutes and it still wouldn’t cure all the way. You need a better lamp. I can give you some recs if you want!

Also the way the thumb lays under the light can cause this. Make sure the light can hit the nail all the way across. Nail tech of 21 years here 💅🏼

You need a base coat first. That one can be a little thicker, but the color layers – no. Keep those thin as they are more opaque, meaning that the curing light will not penetrate past a minimal margin. Better use multiple layers than to risk undercuring.
