I played around with the magnetization method and like how it turned out. I put on a navy polish and added one coat of blade of the frontiers, didn’t magnetize. I added a bunch of DeEnti polish thinner to my nail strengthener and used a coat of that to rewet blade and magnetized it for a minute in a horseshoe magnet. I’ve heard DRK magic effect works pretty much the same way so I tried the same method on a swatch and striped it, I got a very clean line that has barely dispersed

I always use a layer of nail strengthener over polish because it triples the longevity of my manicures and prevents shrinkage with most top coats. That layer performed normally when very thinned out

Ok. I’m intrigued by the usage of nail strengthener before topcoat to prevent shrinkage. When using that on magnetics and not thinning it like you did today, do you generally have to magnetize the strengthening layer or no? I can never figure out what’s going to rewet a magnetic and what’s not 😅
