Maybe this is an unpopular opinion and I mean no offense to you when I say this… this is exactly why I never ever ever take an inspo picture to my nail appointments. I pick a color and sometimes a chrome powder and just stick with that. I see these posts on here all the time and the inspo pictures always look entirely different from what people actually get.

Not all techs can do cat eye or have the really good ones, research the tech beforehand. They look great though just not what you were wanting.

Most places don’t seem to know how to properly do cat eye, especially if you want something other than a straight line across the nail with it. I always end up disappointed at the nail salon 🙁

Nah. I can see through you nails. The base layer before activating the cat eye wasn’t layer it up enough.

That’s really messy technique. I got cat eye done recently for the first time and my nail tech killed it. Get someone new who is at least willing to admit if something is out of their skill set.

The nais as such are not AWFUL but they are certainly not great either. As for the design: they obviously don’t know the technique and tried to just do SOMETHING.
