not sure what you mean by ‘no irritants’? retinol itself can be irritating on the skin for many but ‘irritating’ in the sense that there’s a purging period that can last up to 3 months. Generally, OTC retinol purging doesn’t last that long because the strength isn’t as high as prescription but if your skin isn’t used to retinol, there is a chance.
“Clean” is just a marketing gimmick.
