Interested in any tips to improve! I just started really caring for my nails over last few months after years of biting and picking. I am trying to keep them nicely manicured but it always looks sloppy up close! I’ve been filing them with a crystal file and oiling with jojoba oil religiously. I try to push the cuticles back before painting but they always look a little sloppy still. I try to clean up the edges with nail polish remover.
I’m finding it really hard to figure out how to file them into a nice rounded shape without overdoing it and it’s never quite symmetrical looking. Also still picking at the sides of my nails and trying to keep painting to keep my hands busy.
