Is it a dupe? Round #2 👀

I received a few requests asking if Casa de Heaven by Uno Mas Colors is a dupe for House of Hades by Mooncat. So here they are side by side. ✨

This is 1 coat, 2 coats, 3 coats, and 4 coats shown for comparison.

In terms of base color, it’s spot on. 👏
The main difference comes down to the flake size.

Casa de Heaven reached full opacity for me in 2 coats, while House of Hades stayed much sheerer and needed 4 coats to fully build up.

Overall, they’re very close visually and could definitely be considered a dupe. 👀

For transparency, I am a swatcher for Uno Mas Colors. This post is NOT sponsored and was created based on requests from y’all. 💙

So what do you think… dupe or not? 👀✨

For your average polish, I’d call this a true dupe! Because of HoH’s cult classic status, I think we lacquerheads will demand perfection, leaving room for further research. Price comparison, for those curious:

    Casa de Heaven – $0.80 /ml

    House of Hades – $1.416 /ml

Difference – Casa is 43.5% “off”

Note: factoring in coverage, with HoH requiring roughly twice the coats, Casa is 71.8% “off”

I could immediately tell a difference in texture. They made this intending it to be a dupe for it so.

  3. I love both of these shades. To me, the hue is a perfect dupe but Casa de Heaven is smoother and House of Hades has more of a flaky glitter. The CdH formula is way easier to work with, but if you like the HoH flaky texture, the sheerness of the layers gives it a lot of dimension/depth whereas CdH looks more solid. But they both POP. Have gotten lots of compliments wearing each.

the only difference is the texture at the end. I actually prefer the Uno Mas overall, but actually find that my favorite of the 2 is a combo of them–I coat Uno Mas, 2 coats HoH. The Uno Mas give’s it a more saturated base to help it pop and it really allows the HoH to go on smoother IMO as well.
