BKL Mother Was Mine

I don’t normally wear reds but this one is acceptable as a rust/desaturated red sort of shade. I think it’s gonna grow on me as the days go by! I used a coat of Nail Tek 2 Strengthen, three coats of BKL Mother Was Mine, and a coat of Mooncat Speed Demon. I magnetized the last three layers using the Etsy 5DPrintFactory Perfect Glass Bead nail tool with a 30 lb horseshoe magnet on top and did 90 sec spins each time. It honestly could have been fine with two coats of polish but one nail looked slightly patchy so I decided to go for three on all and am happy with the outcome and depth it added. The fine particle magnetic did make for slightly difficult top coat application and if I look real close there was some disruption to the smoothness overall but it’s hardly noticeable!
