Hello hello! Please could I have some advice on how to avoid this? Is it my bad glue application and not enough pressure when pressing the nails on maybe? Or am I applying too much gel at the cuticle area of the gel x tip? 🤔 is there a way to make them look less like obvious press ons? honestly any advice or help would be amazing.
They’re GelX stiletto in Long. I feel they look ok from the side, but very thick at the cuticle. It’s my first time making press ons but I’ve been doing my own extensions with gel for years, with forms. So I’m used to the cuticle area being a lot more flush.
Thanks!

These are so cool
wait i had this issue too, try filing the underside of the cuticle edge a bit before applying so it hugs your nail better
These are really pretty for your first set!
The bulk at the cuticle usually comes from too much product sitting there. Try applying thinner layers and keeping a tiny gap from the cuticle, then gently pushing the product down instead of starting right at the skin.
You can also lightly file around the cuticle area after curing to refine the shape and remove that bulky look.
