I placed my first LynB order during the most recent sale. It’s arriving soon, and I’m super excited to try them out.
I know that LynB does a big 50% off sale every month, which is great. But I do wonder… do any of you ever buy from LynB when the polish is full price?
I could claim that I ordered more polish because of the sale price, but I would be lying. My typical first order from a new-to-me brand is usually 12-13 bottles. 🫣 The sale price did entice me to try a couple of bottles that were a bit outside my usual comfort zone, because it didn’t feel like much of a risk when the polish ends up being $6.50 or less.
Photo of my soon to arrive haul for tax. Colors are Orpiment, Can’t Figuier You Out, A Peach of My Heart, Paris Green, Twix or Treat, Butterfly Pea Flower Lemonade, Capricious, Enigmatic Glow, London Fog, Le Griffon, Bonfire Blues, and Pearl-Fict Day.

personally i dont order full price from them 🫣 but i have ordered more times from lynb due to their sales than i buy from other brands full price, so i end up spending more money on this brand than on others lol!
I used to when I didn’t know the sales were monthly! But since they are, I wait because that’s when she restocks things like base coats too. I don’t buy every month either, only if the new collection catches my eye or I need to restock on essentials.
Oh man. I didn’t even know they did sales. I ordered full price but now that I know they have 50% off sales I will def be ordering more from them. The two polishes I have from them blew my mind.
The first 2 times I ordered from LynB I didn’t wait for the sale because I didn’t know about it/follow on social media. With my latest order I did wait for the sale, and now that I’ve tried her polishes I think I’ll continue shopping the sale (I’m loving LynB B Smooth base coat).
I don’t love every polish she puts out, and I’m always leery of trusting her website swatches, but once I’ve seen a live swatch or a post here I’m generally pretty down with the vibe.
The only time I’ve ever paid full price for LynBDesigns is through PPU. I figure their store front is set up the way it is for a reason. They tend to have somewhat longer turnaround time and doing the monthly sales with drops probably consolidates their order window and makes their labor, supplies, and space needs more predictable month to month. Another brand might close their site down in-between drops but they keep theirs open.
Sale pricing is FOMO marketing that drives consumer behavior. Not objectively a bad thing, but if your business is not set up to be mega convenient for 24/7 direct to consumer sales in a “Free 2-day Prime Shipping” world, then you do what else works. No one ever really accuses LynBDesigns of FOMO marketing, let’s put it that way.
yes, I order charity polishes on their own, and they are never included in the sales anyway. I also have bought her polishes full price from the monthly LE sites.
