I just came back from a 10 day trip with this mani. The first picture is right after I finished painting and the second is today. Of course the overall look is worse, it held up pretty well! I expected the chips, tip wear, and duller look but what I didn’t expect was the darkening of the tips.
My mom thought it could’ve been from sunscreen use which I think is possible but this darkening seemed to happen over one day towards the end of my trip and quite quickly around evening time while I had been using sunscreen all week. I noticed it most prominently after getting off a rollercoaster ride at night where it was a bit cold.
Curious if this has happened to anyone else or if anyone knows why it happens?
