I feel like I hear more about Korean sunscreens. Don't get me wrong, I love my Korean SPFs like those from Skin 1004, Round Lab, Beauty of Joseon. But, as the weather is warming up, I'm realizing I've neglected my arms and legs and should start applying sunscreen to them.
I've got hair on my arms and legs, so slathering on cream or gel SPF all over them is not pleasant. But, domestic U.S. SPF mists are either dehydrating dry sprays or overly emollient and greasy sprays.
I was advised, I should look to Japanese SPF mists because they are the innovation leaders in this category and have the widest lineup of what I'm looking for…
- Ultra fine mists
- Feel like nothing / or like gentle skincare
- Don't feel or look oily or greasy
- Don't leave a sticky/tacky film on skin
- Don't dehydrated or dry the skin / don't feel tight on skin
What are your opinions on this category of Japanese Mist Sunscreens and which do you think best fit my criteria?

Japanese mists like Biore and Anessa are light, non-greasy, and quick-drying.
