Haven’t posted in a while since my daughter was pretty sick this week. She is finally on the mend so I had her pick whatever nail art she wanted. She picked kitties, so her is my attempt! They are far from perfect, but they made us smile!

I love using fine point markers for nail art. To get clean lines and avoid smudges, here’s what I do:

1) Apply my base coat and polish

2) Use a quick dry top coat to dry the base

3) Draw with my markers

4) Use a water based top coat over the design to avoid smudging

5) Seal the whole nail with my quick dry top coat again

  1. This is adorable! I love seeing a nail art design that works equally well on short and long nails. I hope your daughter is on the mend soon!
