By the Moonlight feels like ✨magic✨

Finally tried By the Moonlight after owning this polish for many months. And I’m so glad I did! It’s bringing me so much joy, even on my messed up, short little nails.

I’ve been frustrated with magnetics generally because I can’t get them “perfect” and that makes me irrationally angry. 😂 So I’ve been avoiding them.

Also, my job has been REALLY rough the past few weeks (you wouldn’t even believe the shit going on…), and I didn’t have time to do my nails, and then they all broke and/or I picked at them because I’ve been so incredibly stressed, and now they’re all WAY shorter and in seriously rough shape. But finally taking them time to do them last night and to try this polish at long last has made me feel partially human again. Even if the magnetic effect isn’t *perfectly done* (by my own impossible standards).

1 coat Seche Forte base coat, 3 coats Haunted by the Moonlight. DRK Magic Effect. Magnetized 2 min w/ 5D Spinner w/ horse shoe magnet on top on a Labfish Stirrer. Then thinned out Sally Hansen Red Bottle top coat, and magnetized 2 min again with same setup.

Zero bubbles (hooray!!), but still some magnetic “blank spots” that annoy me, and plenty of dispersion, but I will live with it!
