This mani was for a lovely friend's Birthday celebration on Instagram. I've always been a fan of the design and incongraphy of Peter Jackson's LOTR movies, and having done a few LOTR ma is before, I knew it was time to whip out the map. the coloring, illustration, and font design on it were always iconic for me and loved trying it myself. I did a saran wrap smoosh for the base to make it look old and textured, and then freehanded some of the classic map things, little trees, shaded mountains, and of course the Shire!
