    Is Fail Polish as great as it seems?

    The marketing is getting me. The newest release looks incredible, and I’ve been considering Launch Me Into The Sun for a while anyway. This newest drop has me guffawing at my desk. The commitment to the schtick is *chef’s kiss*.

    I know it’s a newer brand, and I’ve seen mostly positive things, but now that they’ve been around a bit longer and have a few more shades in their inventory – how’re people’s experiences with the polish itself? Wear time? Application? Are the colors truly as vivid as they seem?

    Honestly, might go for it based solely on the marketing alone because I feel like that deserves to be rewarded.

      They speak to my very soul, that’s for sure.

      I have both of their original drop polishes and they’re really good! The yellow is EYE STRAIN NEON BRIGHT (as long as you put it over a white creme). The white shimmer is really pretty, I’m gonna end up giving it to a friend only bc I don’t like how white polish looks on me (I’m extremely pastey)

      The formulas are good! I needed to add a little bit of thinner to Launch Me into the Sun to get it to apply more evenly, but I also don’t have a lot of experience using jelly polishes so it might’ve been a me issue.

      I snatched this and the green they released awhile back just now bc I genuinely like their vibes and the product is pretty good! Also $12 for 15ml is an insanely good price.

      Their prices are good and quality imo is pretty good. I got WHY GOD WHY and LAUNCH ME INTO THE SUN during their sale and my fave is the former, it’s gorgeous! This brand is very well worth trying.

      Edit: wear time seemed comparable to most brands (I’m rough on my hands though). And like they say on their site, you’ll need a layer of white if you want the neons to pop and not be sheer.

      loveee the neon yellow and pearlescent white i got when they first launched, waiting til they have a bigger catalog and i’ll definitely put in another order when there’s enough to justify shipping lol

      Honestly? No.

      They’re watery neons that need a white base, the printing on the bottles for some of them don’t fit and hang off the edge, and don’t offer anything revolutionary.

      They didn’t launch with nearly enough shades or of them being thick or opaque enough to be worth it for me. Quite honestly, the brand just feels like someone bottling cheap product with a cheeky millenialesque marketing scheme to appeal to us 30-45 year olds in their “haha life sucks but I’m a girl!” Phase which I get because I’m in it, it just feels like this brand is meh with a marketing gimmick more than a brand who really is into nail polish.

      I know I’m gonna be the outlier here but idk my sus radar is going off on this brand more lol

      I am absolutely a sucker for this advertising. If I wasn’t on a no buy (that I actually broke for their soft launch, bad me) I would get this one too. Why God Why wore as long as any other indie brand, super nice formula! I haven’t tried LMITS yet because I just can’t do neon yellow in winter 🤪

      I have their first two nail polishes and both are great! I would recommend them. The marketing definitely helps too.

      I did a sorta ombré of Why God, Why? and Launch me into the Sun. I didn’t love my execution, but I did love the colors and formula. I wouldn’t layer the two over each other (it made LMITS a little bumpy). I’d also give both slightly more drying time before the top coat. Overall will be buying more from Fail. Love their approach to neon and branding.
