Nail tech posted her work and I realized How wrinkly my hands are. I’m only 20 and they look so bad for some reason😭

    Your nails are gorgeous!

Your hands look perfectly fine to me. That’s just what skin looks like under a good camera with no unrealistic smoothing filters.

Lotion, oil, Vaseline, and gloves at night will have you soft and smooth, but some wrinkles are normal 😊 hands bend and stretch and there has to be enough skin to accommodate that!

It’s just genetics. Mine are the same and have been wrinkly since I was little, so it’s not an age thing.

  4. I’ve had what I lovingly call “grandma hands” since I was a teenager. Yeah, moisturizing and hydrating helps, but the baseline is still what it is.

Drink more water! When you’re dehydrated it shows in your hands first.

Lay your hand flat and pinch the skin around your knuckles. If it stays standing or very slowly moves back into position you’re not drinking enough water. If it snaps back into place you’re well hydrated!

Put face moisturizer instead of regular hand lotion! Also put sun block on them! That’s what I do! My hands have gotten better 🙂

My hands have always been like this too. I do think it’s just genetics but moisturizing does help!

I started rubbing in the retinol from my face on the back of my hands and it’s a 180! You can get the Olay 24 at Walgreens, always on sale when I run out!

So pretty!@ its seasonal. Get gold bonds hand creams. I love it winter and going into spring. Makes my hands so smooth. Lasts through washing as well.. you can try retinol ir vit c if not happy but then you have to use sunscreen..
I think your hands are fine and your nails are adorable!!

Dehydrated. Nurse here and your skin tugor is poor, drink up my friend and add a moisturizer. I’d use Vaseline intensive.

  11. Idk your age but have you done a lot of driving in the sun? I noticed that my hands aged a lot after doordashing for a year and a half

As someone who comes from a looooooooonnnnnnng line of “wash woman hands” I’m voting genetics. I use Working Hands religiously and still have WWH.

Love the nails! I would just moisturize. Your hands look fine honestly! Mostly likely just genetics.

DRINK MORE WATER. Not juice. Not milk. DEFINITELY not coffee, tea, or any kind of energy drink (those are dehydrating you even more when you drink them). Not alcohol. WATER. WATER. WATER. Lots of it. It also looks like you don’t moisturize at all. Moisturize your hands with a really intense moisturizer and use cuticle oil as much as you can. Also, I have no idea what you look like physically, but, being overweight also often leads to seeing more wrinkles on the hands because there’s so much movement with your hands that the creases form everywhere, so if you are a larger woman that’s likely also a factor. Buy yourself some seriously intensive skin oil, and lotion and use them multiple times throughout the day. And, again, WATER, WATER, WATER!
