Tried to do magnetic glass bead on my newly short nails. I think I was a bit successful with my thumb, but the rest looks more like a regular holo polish to me. Still super pretty color. My husband (who usually grunts when I show him my nails) actually said this is his favorite color. I'm getting gel extensions next week and so excited to grow these nails long and strong! I had to cut because the nail on my left pointer was inexplicably split… I didn't want to try and save it only for it to split down the nail bed. Ive been taking supplements, oiling, and wearing the formula 2 daily. I think I just need an extra layer of protection to grow these suckers out. I never liked gel because I couldn't change the color, but now that I know about using it for extensions and getting fills, I'm super excited. I've never had nails longer than the very tip of my finger. Any suggestions on what to ask my nail tech for/things to look out for? I've only had gel done twice (poorly, by a different person, different salon) and dip once (never again).
I also need to take a bath and soak my cuticles to get the last bit of polish off my skin. The super fine magnetic particles don't want to leave….
