Loving this mani. I was so impatient for this beauty to come in the mail and she did not disappoint!! It looks like a dark start night sky right after dusk, sitting lakeside with a cold drink. Magical!
BKL Shadowside
Base: KB Shimmer stay put base
Main: 2 coats shadowside magnetized with the glass bead method (I like mine to be more of a line/half than a tight circle so I spin the top very fast for 60 seconds each coat)
Top: Glisten and Glow DQTC
I found the dried polish with no top coat to be a little scary haha. It looked like it was full of air bubbles I was nervous it would look terrible and I’d have to take it off even though I didn’t do it any differently than my other successful magnet manis. But I think the glitter in it dries very rough and the top coat smoothed it all out flawlessly. I’ll attach a photo below of the off putting pre top coat look so you’ll see what I mean. Love this polish!! Going to be a new staple color for me for sure.

Oh my goodness, it came out so pretty! 😍
This was one of the first magnetics I tried and it was still bumpy for me after the top coat (Essie gel couture). Did you happen to use more than one layer of top coat and/or have any tricks to help smooth it out?
