I want to get a glass bead effect cat eye nail. I will be trying a new salon because the ones I've been to before did not have the skill to give me what I asked for.
How can I explain to a new tech the technique needed to achieve this look so I get what I want this time around? I don't want to be condescending to them.
Thanks for any input.

It’s like cat eye, the use a magnet before curing.
I would use social media to find a tech in your area who has pics like this and ask if they can do this effect. It’s gonna be hard to walk into a salon and get a glass bead magnetic effect
There’s a tool that does the polished glass look,

You have to find a magnetic gel that is very fine and less glittery. You can use a horseshoe magnet or move the magnet around the nail until this velvet look is achieved. Then you cure it under UV. The top coat can be thick or you can use a builder gel to give the thickness seen here.
