This quote and couple has been living in my head rent free for yeeears and I think about it every spring. Fruit’s Basket was the first manga I ever bought for myself, and so it’ll always have a special place in my lil weeb heart. It also seemed like the perfect time to use Fuyu which means winter in Japanese, and Haru which means spring together. As you can see, I had a whole “artistic vision” for this mani lol.

ANLAC Fuyu on my thumb, index, and pinky

magnetized in the glass bead style using my MagnaTron (22lb horse shoe, on top of 5D factory’s glass bead tool, automated by a magnetic stirrer). Middle and ring ring are ANLAC Haru, also done in glass bead. All fingies were stamped and done in the velvet style using Cracked’s Hush Hush, and I also used Bee’s Knees Lacquer’s It Happens to stamp on my middle finger too.

Base coat is KB Shimmer’s Fillin Groovy, and top is Cracked Polish’s Quick Dry Top Coat.

God I love Fruits Basket. Hatori was always my #1.

    Beautiful idea and excellent execution!
