This was my first time getting my nails done and I asked the nail tech to just change colour. I like the colour burgundy and white, but I specifically asked her if she could do the design thinner than my inspo pic, especially since my nails are way shorter. She said she’d give her best try, and this is how it turned out. I hate them.
She probably noticed how I didn’t like my design when she did my other hand, she asked me if I like it and I had tons of questions in my mind whether it’s the same design I asked for and she said it’s fine and it looks a bit different because I have shorter nails. So I let her do my other hand and paid for it, although I really wasn’t sure about the design but I acknowledge that I should've spoken up. A minute after I left, I realized how terrible it was and tbh it ruined my day really good. It wasn’t expensive and it’s frustrating so I don’t know what to do. Is asking for a refund or just asking to file the designs not reasonable? What am I supposed to do when things like this happen?

For nail art like that you really have to go to private techs that specialize in nail design. Most walk-in salons only do simple designs they’ve been doing for 20 years. Even though this seems simple, it’s not in everyone’s skill set. Or if you go to a walk in, ask if they have anyone that specializes in nail art.
