Hi all, I’ve seen lots of magnetic polish posts and I love THEM ALL. Please consider continuing to feed my addiction.

As this is not gel, the bead effect does diffuse over time, but I still really enjoy this style. Here is my manicure before and after diffusion over time!

Notably, I find using a top coat (even magnetizing the top coat) diffuses the effect even more, so I don’t use one.

First video is directly after magnetizing. Second is 3 days later. The base is much more navy blue than black IRL.

Base: ORLY bonder

Color: Curiosity’s Trap by Mooncat x2 coats, magnetized with spinner from 5Dprinting on Etsy.

I actually prefer the diffused look, so I intentionally put my finger nail facing up on a magnet stirrer and often don’t magnetize the top coat. A tight bead is really nice sometimes so depending on how much I like the base color I change things up
